Terms of Use
Last updated 6 October 2026
By using Jab you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the app.
What Jab is
Jab is a personal tracking tool for people taking a GLP‑1 medication prescribed to them. It records what you tell it and shows it back to you.
Jab is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. We are not doctors, pharmacists, or licensed medical professionals.
It never decides your dose
Jab does not recommend, calculate, or adjust a dose, and it ships no dose values or dosing schedules of its own. Every dose, every step of your titration ladder, and every date in the app is one you entered, from what your prescriber told you.
Follow your prescriber’s instructions. If anything shown in Jab conflicts with what they told you, follow your prescriber. Talk to them before starting, changing, or stopping any medication, and about any side effect that concerns you.
If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service. Do not use this app for that.
Estimates are estimates
Two things Jab shows are estimates rather than records of what you entered. The estimated-levels view is an illustration drawn from the doses you logged; it is not a measurement of anything in your body. The optional meal photo scan in Jab Pro sends a photo you choose to a third-party AI service and returns an estimate of what is in it — the items it identifies and their calories, protein, carbohydrate and fat — which can be wrong; you decide whether to add the protein to your day. Neither is medical or dietary advice, and neither should be used to make a decision about your treatment. How the photo is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
Jab offers an optional auto-renewing subscription. The price, billing period, and any free trial are shown in the app before you confirm, and payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at that point. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel at any time in your device’s subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us. Deleting your Jab account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in those settings.
Your account and your data
You are responsible for what you enter. Keep your sign-in secure. You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app at any time — see the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Personal, non-commercial use, by people 18 or over. Do not use Jab unlawfully, attempt to access systems you are not entitled to, or interfere with the service.
No warranty, and limits on liability
Jab is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or health outcome arising from your use of it.
Trademarks
Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Saxenda, Victoza and Trulicity are trademarks of their respective owners. They appear in Jab only to identify the medication you are tracking. Jab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
